Yak Safari

Curious about a yak safari? The imprinting heavyweights can reach a maximum weight of up to 500 kg. Through their thick coat, they survive the harsh winters in the highlands of Pamir. The yak milk, yogurt and meat is an important source of food for the Pamiris. You can start your tour in the village of Alichur or Bashgumbez, located on the M41 between Khorog and Murgab. The duration of the yak safari varies depending on your interest.

Horse Riding

Discover the Pamirs with a horseback tour. Start your horse riding in Bachor. It is located 120 km east of Khorog, on the M41 direction to Murgab. You can determine the duration of the tour individually, usually many ride on average 2-3 days.

Off the beaten path, cross fields and become aware of this immense plateau. Finally, you will reach the stunning Yashilkul lake. Have a rest and enjoy the silence. It is a great way to enjoy the Pamirs in a decelerated and quiet way.
